If you are lucky enough to get some fine weather, Rosadillisk is the perfect spot to soak up some rays and look out over the Atlantic. If you're brave enough, get in for a dip, you will feel amazing after it. Why not bring a picnic from Norah's Cottage with you. Just ask and we can pack you something delicious!

The scenic village of Cleggan is a must see and is the port for trips to Inisboffin. Cleggan is reachable from Norah's Cottage by car/ bike or by foot. Take the scenic route there via Aughrusbeg and the beautiful anchor beach.

A great day trip and a must see. Catch the ferry to Inishbofin from Cleggan pier, rent some bikes and savour some excellent food in either Iniswalla or Murrays. Don't forget to have a pint in Day's pub before you catch the ferry home. Bring your swimsuits, the beaches are fabulous out here.

Sweeney's is an institution around here and the heart of Claddaghduff village. Mary and Malachy run the pub which offers the usual drinks and a good lunch. Also there is a good convenience store and post office here. The Views over Omey strand are fabulous here.

AMAZING views from the top. If you get a clear day, leave early, bring a picnic and start the walk from the Connemara National park carpark. Do do the full walk, it probably takes about 1.5 hrs depending on fitness. The top part of the walk is steep so be prepared!

Serving cracking lamb chops, local mussles and a great coffee, Misunderstood Heron is well worth a visit. Continue down to Killary village and enjoy a Guinness in Gaynor's which was featured in the epic film "The Field".
