This is an awesome day trip that will be an adventure. Located about 40 minutes west on SR40 (Granada Blvd) this state park has a canoe run that is incredible. Go early for the canoe trip, bring a soft side cooler with a lunch in it, it takes about 3-4 hours, when you get to the end, a park van will pick you up and take you back to the beginning. Crystal clear springs and chances are, you will see an alligator. Too adventurous? Stay in the park and enjoy the natural spring pool (no alligators).
