In my humble opinion, the best swimming lake in California hands down. Clean, cool, fresh blue water. Minimal wakes, lost of swimmer & rope swings. Bring your blow up raft. In the heat of the summer you will need to get there early to get a parking space on Hwy20. The Lodge At Blue Lakes offers guest parking passes but they go fast and early.
