This place is a big surprise. Indian American owner cooks everything from scratch. The BBQ is great, but her homemade Chicken Soup is slamming! It is the penicillin in my house when someone gets sick. Check out her menu! And get the spinach side!! Wow!! 8-10 min walk from the house. Left out the house, walk down Fieldston, left on Mosholu.

Transport
The 242nd St/Van Cortland Park stop on the 1 Subway Line. The closest subway stop to us. This is the last stop on the 1 Train, which goes down into Manhattan, and transfers to many other subway lines.
To get to this subway stop, you could walk there (20 mins), you could take one of 3 buses that go there (10-15 mins), or you can take an Uber/Lyft there (3 mins) for approx. $8 - $10. Please talk with Tamara for directions on how to walk there or take a bus.

Neighborhoods
A great walk. Turn right out of the house and just follow Fieldston Rd Its a lovely, quiet, safe walk in the fancy-shmancy Fieldtson neighborhood. This walk will also lead you to South Riverdale, which has two great main streets with lots going on: Riverdale Ave and Johnson Ave.
About 7 mins after leaving the house, while walking on Fieldston, you will come across Indian Road, soon after you pass the fancy Riverdale Country Day School. Turn left on Indian Road and you will come across a lovely small secret pond. Enjoy!
