We get take out there about every two weeks. Wonderful owner pours his heart into his food. We usually order: mulai kufta (veg balls), keema karhi (seasoned ground beef), palak paneer (creamed spinach), chili chicken...so many good dishes. No alcohol. Best for take-out.

Home of $5 small plates and $5 drinks. Very good fish and chips and we love their small plate calamari. Small plate pork belly, buffalo fries, fried green beans...all yummy. Fun venue with penny-inlaid bar. Outside seating. In historic Tower District.

Great old school family italian deli. They make sub sandwiches. I buy their fresh or frozen homemade pasta sauces and homemade frozen ravioli etc. to have for dinner. You can also buy lasagna, etc. Smells great when you enter.

I love the breakfast burritos at these drive-through rico taco places. About $6 and you have a filling breakfast. Nearest one is about 4 miles away on Ashlan Avenue. They have a variety of Mexican food offerings: tacos, burritos, nachos, etc.

In addition to clothing shops, CVS, post office, etc. it has MANY eating places: sushi at Wassabi, finer dining at Elbow Room, French bakery, great salad and home style meals at Jack's, a beer place, Starbuck's, Whole Foods market, and a lot more options for eating.
