Manix is a great surf and turf spot and one of my favorites to stop by in the town. They are very close to Casa de Annie and easy to access. With both an excellent bar and delicious food I couldn’t recommend them more. Personally, I enjoy the seafood options, like the Muscle Linguini and the Fruitte di Mare which is tender, well-seasoned, and a generous portion at that. With live music, a great bar, and great staff I enjoy them on the regular. They are close, personable, and one of the better eateries in the town.

Bring mosquito repellent, anti-itch spray and antihistamine.
Mosquitos are prevalent, especially when you get off of the airplane. I carry a small non-aerosol mosquito repellent and/or towelette that I can pack in my personal bag and use it as soon as I get off of the plane.

Be sure to pack comfortable walking shoes.
There are many places of interest that you will want to visit that require comfortable walking shoes. Many of the streets where you will find wonderful local shops and restaurants are cobbled. Other sites and places to visit also offer an opportunity for fresh air and a nice stroll.
