The Boat Ramp on Lake Bellaire is 3.4 miles from Timber Ridge Condominiums and you have access to an overnight parking lot for your trailer and boat near the condo. Launching in Lake Bellaire gives you access to the entire Chain of Lakes (Lake Bellaire, Grass River, Clam Lake, Clam River, Torch Lake, Skegemog, and Elk Lake. The ride to the Sand bar depends on your speed, it averages 40 minutes. Beautiful ride. A great day trip with dining destinations - Butch's, Dockside, Dewitt's, and Alden bar and grill.

Walk out to the parking lot locate the stairs on your left; go up the stairs and around to the front of the red building, you're in the heart of Shanty Creek; walk past the food and drink area and turn left before the kids play area, walk down along the side of the lifts turn right and follow the Lakeview Hotel building around the front of it; you'll get a great view of Lake Bellaire; see the outdoor pool; look up and see the dining area in the lakeview hotel; walk around the front of the building and you're headed back to Timber Ridge. You'll see a pro shop across the road, if you walk over there you can hike the cross country trails this time of year.
