E. McGraw st. is where the apt. is and at the bottom of the hill the #48 bus takes you to the U.W. light rail and campus all the way to Ballard. #43 operates early only and takes you to the Capital Hill area and downtown. Both of these bus routes are convenient to transfer to other buses and back. Opening day is the first Saturday in May and everyone goes to the Montlake Bridge or around the edges of the canal to watch the shell races and fancy boats parade by. It is really fun.
