One of our absolute favorite places for lunch . We always eat at the back bar, which is first come first served. When you put your name in the front. Walk around to the back side of the restaurant. Tables and seats in the bar area are open seating. They also have a number of chairs overlooking the intercoastal waterway to sit and wait. Or just watch the sunset. Walk down the ramp to photograph “tame” egrets and birds that live at the dock. Love this place!

Islands

Ossabaw is a Very special artists island that was inhabitated by Sandy West, an heiress to a fortune that donated the island to The State of a Georgia in the 1970s... then lived to be 108, I think! She just passed last year and was an environmentalist and philanthropist.
