If you’re looking for great food, great service or just a great place to unwind, Third & Main has it all. As the only restaurant Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky that is dry aging our steaks in house, we meticulously craft our selected steaks in a state of the art dry aging cooler.
Our entrees feature ingredients that are locally-sourced and always at the peak of freshness. Third & Main is fully-stocked with spirits; domestic, import and craft beers; and a variety of select wines we feature proudly. Uncork a bottle of your favorite wine and open yourself up for a great night.

1.5 mile drive to Downtown Aurora Great Crescent Brewery is located in historic Aurora, IN along the banks of the Ohio River. Great Crescent Brewery beers are made with fresh malt, fresh hops and whole ingredients. Every beer is hand-crafted in small batches using traditional brewing methods. Beer is sold by the glass in our taproom and carry-out in 32oz bottles. All food is made in-house from fresh ingredients.
People deserve to know where their food is coming from and how it is prepared. All beer and food offered at Great Crescent Brewery is prepared in-house, except for one item - kettle chips. All of our beers and every other menu item is prepared from fresh, whole foods, made without added preservatives, chemicals or flavor enhancers. We do it this way because we believe that you deserve fresh, healthy food and drink.
We don’t filter our beers or use chemical clarifiers, we give them time to clear without interference. This extra time provides the beer a chance to condition properly; come to it’s full flavor potential naturally. Some of our beers, like IPA’s and Pale Ales will exhibit haze due to the amount of hops, but that’s a good thing as far as we are concerned.
We don’t chase fads. We’re here because we want to be here - creating beer, cooking fresh food, living responsibly and sharing our unique brewery experience.

Take a drive through the beautiful rolling hills of southeastern Indiana with Versailles State Park, Indiana’s second-largest state park, as your destination. This area has deep history rooted in both the Civil War and the Civilian Conservation Corps. Versailles State Park dedicated a CCC commemorative statue in 2010. Numerous fossils tell the story of an ancient sea that covered the region. During the Civil War, Morgan’s Raiders made their way through the area that is now the park. The town of Versailles was briefly under Confederate control.
Relax while fishing on the 230-acre lake where you can rent a rowboat, kayak or canoe. Get a workout and see the beauty of the park by taking a walk on the hiking trails or a ride on the mountain bike trails. Bring your horses for the day to enjoy the more than 20 miles of horse trails. Steps to a scenic overlook at the dam are a prime spot to see herons and other aquatic wildlife. In fall, enjoy activities like the Versailles Pumpkin Show in the town of Versailles on the last weekend in September or the Bluegrass Festival on the first weekend of October. For Halloween festivities, visit the park the last weekend in October.

1-1/2 mile away. This is one of the Trailheads for the Bike and walking trail in Aurora. It is a paved trail the connects Aurora to Lawrenceburg. Lawrenceburg/Aurora Trail is a 7.3 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The trail is good for all skill levels and is primarily used for road biking and mountain biking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
