Whereas BakeHouse excels at all things patisserie Stone Hearth comes from a more rustic tradition that produces the best breads in town. That is not to say that the sweets are subpar. You are merely advised to try something from Stone Hearth that you would not be able to get at BakeHouse.

In my opinion this is the best kept secret in Frederick County. Carroll Creek Park may get all of the visitors downtown but Baker Park is the place to really find Frederick.
From concerts at the Band Shell to public tennis courts and a municipal swimming pool you can find something for just about everyone in the group here.
Take advantage of one of the many covered picnic areas scattered throughout the park.
Parking is Frederick difficult which means that you may have to walk a few blocks from the "perfect spot" but its worth it.
