An incredibly beautiful walking/biking trail only a half mile from the house. Especially beautiful if you hit it at dusk or dawn. We like to talk to the Withlacoochi bridge and back whenever we get the chance.

It's only a 30min drive out and they have frequent horse and dog shoes, and also have a number of incredibly delicious restaurants on the campus! Perfect for special family outings, or special date-night dinners.

Tube down the rainbow!
A lot of people visit Dunnellon to experience the pristine Rainbow River, many of whom want to tube down the river. We absolutely recommend you try to go tubing on the rainbow.
The tubing entrance is at 'KP hole' which is about a 10-15 minute drive up river. You can park your car here and pay a fee to rent a tube and enter. Note: You cannot bring your own tubes to this entrance.
When tubing do not forget to bring:
1) Water, in a non-disposable water bottle.
2) Sunscreen of some sort.
3) A lot of people forget to do this but BRING A SNORKEL
