Located just a few miles outside of town is the beautiful and scenic Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge located on Milepost 438 of the historic 444-mile forest trail starting in Nashville, Tennessee, and running all the way to Natchez, Mississippi and is one of the best Franklin attractions to take in the view from the outlook. The bridge itself is a modern, architectural marvel and was added in the 1990s, however, the trail and location have been used to traverse for centuries along a geological ridgeline by prehistoric animals, Native Americans, and later by European colonizers and traders.
Down town Leipers Fork is just 2 mils from Garrison Creek (mile post 427.6)
