50 meters from our house is the best beach. Medium wave perfect for families, play in tide pool, snorkel the rocks, several beach front restaurants and vendors. There is nice walking path before the sand and lots of shade trees.

See volcano vents, mud pools, boiling lake. Rincon National Park. $12 non citizens, 1 hour drive, easy 2 to 3 hours hike. They have more difficult trails also.
Note the path is smooth with lots of small steps.

Hike the Rio Celeste, the river turns turquoise and has waterfall. 2 hour drive, 3 - 4 hour walk. The path has several points starting with waterfall and ending with origin of the color change. Then you must turn around and walk same path to return. There are stairs to down to the bottom of waterfall.

(There is another location you can swim in the Rio Celeste after your hike. I have not been there yet.)
