The stainless steel robot men walking around Dallas are placed throughout Deep Ellum by the artist Brad Oldham. They're easy to spot as they tower over the streets.

Much like the watchful eyes in the Great Gatsby, Dallas is crowned with a single eyeball that looks directly at you at the Joule Hotel. It sits on a lush green lawn flanked with towering buildings.

There is a crossing path that goes right over the train tracks which makes for great photos! This is not really a tripod-safe place, people are constantly walking around this area not to mention the trains are constantly coming in and out, so be safe!

When people think of Instagram-worthy places in Dallas, they probably don’t think of Mockingbird Station. But they have great photo ops, and make sure to checkout the bridge, which is where you’ll find these awesome stairs. The University Crossing Trail runs right over the bridge, and the stairs are located on the south side of the bridge after it crosses Mockingbird. Just beware- DSLR photography is not permitted here, so shoot at your own risk! Or use a phone, and/or just keep an eye out for security.

You'll love the interior of the Adolphus Hotel! It is beautifully designed with eclectic vibes, rich leathers, and oriental carpets. And, definitely checkout the pool, it has a pretty cool side view of Dallas!

Rockwall is a bit outside of Dallas but offers the prettiest lighthouse view! One of the local favorites, and be sure to go on a sunset cruise with "Sail With Scott." This catamaran was built by the former mayor of Rockwall, Scott, and following his passing, his family has continued his sailing tradition! How cool is that?!
