These are my favorite places in the Tower District and they are all within walking distance of Roosevelt Manor.
This is a great family restaurant with an All American style menu with full bar and locally brewed beer. Live music is usually Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Lot's of TV's to watch your favorite sports as well. Outdoor seating is available.

First of all the bar is amazing. I'm not talking about the drinks (but those are amazing too) but the actually bar has thousands of pennies sealed in epoxy that was created by the owners, Aaron, Andy and David. It's something to see!
The Fried Green Beans... there is no better, I've looked. It's a must have appetizer.
Their menu is a delicious assortment of original food that doesn't disappoint. The drinks are creative and tasty.
There is outdoor seating/dining available, which is great for people watching in the Tower.
The Lincoln Pub & Grub

Their menu is available online and offers everything from salads, to pizza, to cheezy garlic bread and sandwiches.
It's all to go, either pick up or they also deliver. I'm a regular customer, just tell them you're stayin' at Barbara's place.
Pacifica Pizza

If the backyard doesn't have the aroma of pizza drifting through, it will have the downy fresh smells of laundry. This super friendly and large laundromat is next door to Roosevelt Manor and is perfect for those large laundry days. Very affordable and super friendly staff, plus they have a snack shop inside as well. And Pacifica Pizza next door!
For those travelers that are looking for a laundry spot after a long vacation, this is perfect.
Super Suds Laundry Tower District

This super friendly and large laundromat is next door to Roosevelt Manor and is perfect for those large laundry days. Very affordable and super friendly staff, plus they have a snack shop inside as well. And Pacifica Pizza next door!

All American Breakfast. Their extensive menu has everything from steak and eggs to a bagelwich for breakfast and meatloaf with potatoes for dinner.

I actually had to look up how many taps they have... it's a lot. Always rotating craft beers. Live music, unique bar design (there's a boat in here) and a great community of beer drinkers. There's a back patio and usually a food truck. This establishment sponsors a our area trash pick up every third Sunday because they are invested in our community. Gotta respect that kind of love! Seriously, there's always something fun happening here!
