Upland is a quaint town with a nice downtown area with shops, restaurants and a Metrolink train station.
Beautiful and historic Euclid Avenue, boasts lovely homes as well as a bridal path or walking path. In the old days, there was a horse-drawn trolley that would be packed up and taken to Mount Baldy. Now it's used for walking, dog-walking as well as a nice place to take the horses. There is a Meet Up group that meets at the Chase Bank parking lot on Euclid and Foothill. They leave at 8 AM every Saturday morning. A nice opportunity to exercise and make new friends.

Plenty to see and do in the San Diego area. Lego Land, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Balboa Park, Hotel del Coronado, Harbor cruise, USS Midway, and the Del Mar Racetrack are all fun things to see. About an hour and a half drive from the house.

They offer great restaurants and many have entertaining shows. About an hour to an hour and a half from the house.

There are plenty of Indian casinos to spend time at. They offer great restaurants and many have entertaining shows. About an hour to an hour and a half from the house.

Longhorn Steakhouse for steaks and their berry salad. There's a wonderful historic restaurant called The Sycamore Inn. It has a sordid history as a hotel in the 1800's. Across the street is The Magic Lamp which features delicious prime rib.
Caffe Allegro for Italian in downtown Upland.
Padua Pasta Makers for delicious sandwiches and fresh Italian food to take home for later. Great pizza a Paulie's Pizza in downtown Upland. A local favorite is Vince's spaghetti. Affordable and plentiful.
A little further away is Victoria Gardens which has PF Chang's, Bass Pro Shop, Cheesecake Factory, Flemings and many other great restaurants.
Good hamburgers can be found at In N Out, Chili's, Fatburger, Five Guys and The Habit.
