Texas Hill Country Wineries
There are easily 10+ wineries west of here; all within 15-25 miles located in Texas Hill Country. This is an easy, beautiful drive leaving out west Kyle and making a stop at the Iconic Hays City Store. (Hays City Store is so popular for a laid back Texas lunch/dinner you may need to make reservations, they also have live music)

We have the most wonderful natural deer population here. They are around all the time but most heavily at dusk and dawn. Sit back and watch them graze, we sprinkle apple deer corn for them. The more commotion you have around during these hours the less likely they are to come close.
