The Dooley Mansion is victorian mansion in the Maymont park worth seeing if you like old houses and eclectic furnishings. I also love the grounds. Steep paths wind between native Virginia animal habitats and a victorian garden. I use to drive carriages for the public here so it has a special place in my heart. Head to Can Can and Cary court Shopping area for lunch and retail boutigues along a thoroughfare pointing you onto the VCU campus and the Shockoe bottom district.
