Above the gorgeous gig venue Small Seeds, this alternative bar is a hidden gem. Offering Ale, wine, spirits and cocktails as well as the best veggie pizza's we have ever had at £6 each! Really great vibe and friendly atmosphere. I love the red wine they serve here.

Brilliant spot for a walk or picnic with really stunning views over the valley. A victorian tower that you can climb to the top of for a tiny admission fee with a very interesting history - including the gentleman who died on the first day it was open after waiting in the pub at the bottom for the crowds to go down before he climbed to the top (pub gone now!).

Take a book and sandwich on a sunny day like we do or enjoy one of the two cafes. it has a lake, a large paddling pool, two playgrounds, tennis courts, skate park and japanese gardens as well as fountains and a band stand and regularly hosts concerts and events in the summer months. They also host Park Runs on the weekends.

This is a supermarket (biggest co-op I have been in), a couple of minutes walk from the house and will supply all of your everyday items. Tesco and Sainsbury also ahve 24 hour stores in the town centre and ASDA and Morrisons, Lidl and Aldi are a short drive away/bus ride away.
