It's my favorite Thai restaurant in Seattle. EVERYTHING on the menu is 5 stars. I LOVE the crab fried rice and the penang curry chicken. Of course the pad thai is the best you'll eat. Their wine selection is wonderful. Expect a wait for a table or order take out. Ask for the lovely Ann who is a gem of a friend!

One of the best city views is from the patio at Marination Ma Kai. Everything on the menu is delicious for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I order the Miso Ginger Chicken Kimchi Fried Rice or the Fish & Chips with the Miso Ginger tartar sauce. Skip the long line in front and walk inside and order from the bar, then enjoy the outdoor seating and stunning view. Bring a sweater when dining after 8pm.

They have the best eggs benedict, beignets, and mimosas! Expect a wait for a table, but I recommend sitting in the bar. You can grab a coffee while you wait around the corner at Cafe Ladro.

Avoid peak times on the freeways when you plan your day trip. There are lots of restaurants around the lake, but you can also drive about 2 miles west to the outdoor University Village shopping mall.
