On those days, a procession of the saint is taking place. The coffin is moved under the shadow of a plane tree, which was planted by Agios Gerasimos himself. The ceremony is followed by a big festival with music, dancing, food and wine.

On Sunday's you can visit also during the Orthodox divie Liturgy.

Small colorful villas, great restaurants, a marina harbour that attracts wealthy yachts. You can also arrange to take a Ferry tour towards Astakos island, Lefkada island or Ithaka.
