La Rambla, also called Las Ramblas (Catalan Les Rambles), is an emblematic promenade of the city of Barcelona that runs between Plaça de Catalunya (in Catalan, Plaça de Catalunya), the nerve center of the city, and the old port. The walk is full of people by day and late into the night. It is marked by press kiosks, flowers and others to decide to replace the old stops of small animals (mainly birds), street performers, coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Flea markets are usually installed near the port, as well as painters and sketchers. Strolling along La Rambla you can see several buildings of interest
