Beer garden upstairs (one of very few decent ones in the city centre!) They also have regular exhibitions and two cool little shops: one for books, one for art & design. Great place to pick up some souvenirs for friends.
Secret tip: Every second Sunday the upstairs bar CCA hosts a board game club. You pay £2 and get access to any of the host Kenny's vast collection. A great way to spend an afternoon.

Beer garden upstairs (one of very few decent ones in the city centre!) They also have regular exhibitions and two cool little shops: one for books, one for art & design. Great place to pick up some souvenirs for friends.

The best pizza in Glasgow. Easily. Pizzas are seriously cheap for the quality too. They don't take reservations so you may have to queue at dinner-time, however it's definitely worth it!

Not your typical student union. The food here is decent and very cheap. Drinks are reasonable. Most people come here for their club nights and gigs. Great for both!

A lovely walkway along the river. Winds through the Botanics and past some of the very well-heeled parts of the west end. Great if you want to explore the city away from the cars. A good route for cyclists too. The closest entrance to the walkway is by joining it at Inn Deep (also marked on the map).

A good sized park with lots to see and do. The two glass houses (the famous Kibble Palace is one) have a great selection - recommended to anyone.

Great park, especially for kids - there's a play park and a skate park too. The Gallery & Museum can be found here too.
I recommend going up to one of the highest points in the park at the Park Terrace entrance. You get a great view of Glasgow Uni and over the city.
