Four Cafe offers deceptively good food. Walk up order counter right inside the door, but great service and very tasty food! They have great soups, salads and sandwiches. I haven't tried other menu items, but this is a nice spot! Yum!

There are a few Thai restaurants, but this is our clear favorite in Eagle Rock. They took a beautiful house and transformed it into a great restaurant. There's outdoor and indoor seating. You can also order takeaway. There's a small parking lot in the back, accessible via an alley, if you can't find parking on Colorado.

There's outdoor and indoor seating. You can also order takeaway. There's a small parking lot in the back, accessible via an alley, if you can't find parking on Colorado.

The old observatory still functions, but now there's a top-notch astronomy museum underneath and many nights they setup smaller (yet very powerful) modern telescopes in the area in front of the observatory. Even if you don't go for the science, go for the city views or start your hike, as there are many trails nearby. Weekends and astronomical events cause even more parking problems than normal, so you may have to park and walk. There's a cafe there, however, do yourself a favor and order takeout someplace else and bring it there. No alcohol.
