The owners wanted a family space to share with guests, and have a mix of modern , retro & vintage with panoramic views over the ocean stretching as far as Rame Head ,Looe, Seaton & Downderry. Close to HMS Raleigh &Polhawn Fort. There are 120 steps down to the chalet.

We are 3 miles from the town of Liskeard and 8 miles from the coastal town of Looe. Recently redecorated and refurbished It is a beautiful place to stay in South east Cornwall easy driving distance of the coastal towns of Looe, Polperro and Fowey. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen & bathroom, access to Sky TV (including Sports and Movies), Netflix and Amazon Prime. You can walk into Looe which is just over a mile walk or drive it in a few minutes.

Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

Located in South East Cornwall, The Hayloft is the ideal base for your Cornish holiday. We are located just 5.5 miles from Looe and 6 miles from Seaton which has a dog friendly beach all year round. We are just 2 miles from the A38, one of Cornwall's main arterial roads from which you can easily explore the county. We are 2.5 (steep!) miles from Causeland station from which you can get to the main line at Liskeard or into Looe. NB This is a branch line and trains stop running early.
