Victorias place was just as advertised and more. The garden onto the canal was definitely the highlight and my kids spent the entire week out there fishing and paddle boarding. The house was spacious and really nice with a personal touch. I highly recommend Victorias to anyone looking for a spacious, homely place in a great location.

We loved this place. It’s been beautifully renovated and is in a stunning location. The kitchen was really well-equipped and it was great to find it stocked with all the basics you might need. Polly and Jason were super-responsive with any queries we had and the welcome basket was lovely. We had excellent evening meals at the Robin Hood Inn and the Hinchcliffe Arms, both within easy walking distance. If you’re booking online make sure you’re on the Cragg Vale Robin Hood Inn website and not the one in Pecket Well which is a 15 minute drive away!

What a wonderful place to stay. Georgie was a super host,full of information for you from start to finish. Great and easy to communicate with. House full of extras for you to use if required. If you forget something ,don't worry Georgie will probably have it. Beds were comfy,lovely decor throughout. Exceptionally clean. Lovely spot by the canal,with lovely walks either way. parking was easy in a nice quiet street. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at Georgies house. Thank you Georgie for your hospitality. Defiantly would stay again.

My colleagues and I had a lovely time at Lisa's family home. It was a lovely, comfortable home that was clean and warm with everything we needed. Great communication and a lovely welcome.

Stayed at Helen's place due to working locally for a few days. Helen was very friendly and helpful welcoming. The place was great. Had everything I needed and felt very homely. Location was perfect for me as it was only a few minutes from where I was working. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location with stunning views over the countryside. Comfortable furnishings and relaxing place to rest our heads as we spent most of our days out and about for work. Colin was very responsive to messages and very helpful, before and during our stay. A great base to explore the local area.

Great place to stay. Not too far from the centre. Clean apartment with lots of room. Bit disappointed that the garage space is not able to be used at the moment but there is on street parking nearby, as recommended by the host. The host Marshall was really attentive and made sure we were settled. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place in a nice area; walking distance to cosy pubs and restaurants, to buses and the tram. We felt most welcome and particularly enjoyed having access to outdoor space in the garden.

We loved our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. The flat is beautiful, and has clearly been recently renovated to a high standard throughout (loved the selection of plates, cutlery, and pans etc). The beds were super comfy, and the area was very peaceful and leafy, at least to us coming up from London. Rebecca & Connor were so responsive and thoughtful, and gave us so many amazing recommendations for the area, and Manchester in general, which we really appreciated. Great transport link at the end of the road and a Co-Op just a stones throw away. A wonderful base for exploring South Manchester!

We'd chosen the property as a place to stay whilst undertaking a private project, so weren't too fussed about five star accommodation, however, this place is a little gem. Very comfortable and cosy, but at the same time very well equipped - we especially loved the Nespresso machine, which we've never used before but now we're about to buy one of our own. Our dog, Jack, has especially liked being able to mooch around in 'his' outdoor space by himself, and has been quick to settle down and relax - always a good thing when a highly strung hound. And talking of outdoors - the views are just something else - just miles and miles of Yorkshire countryside, and sooooo peaceful and quiet. Driving there means you have to encounter some very steep, winding hills - bit of a challenge to this gal from the Midlands, but absolutely worth it. We're hoping to book again!

We had the most gorgeous night away here, the surroundings were just beautiful - we loved watching the lambs, hares & curlews in the field out front, it was so peaceful despite being so close to Rivington & local villages. The cabin itself was stunning, every detail had been thought about, you could tell a lot of love had gone into it. The bed was super cosy & it was so gorgeous to wake up & lay in bed with a cup of tea looking out at those views. The wellness bath is such a treat, especially on a warm evening & it felt really private. We’d absolutely recommend this place 100 times over. Julie & Grace were so friendly, helpful & responsive, we felt right at home straight away. We didn’t know until we were there, but we were their first guests - we’d never have known, everything was so seamless. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
