Peacock Porch Cottage is located on the beautiful south end of Amelia Island. Just a short 10 min. walk to beaches, the Ritz Carlton, and the CONCOURS d'ELEGANCE. Enjoy golf, kayaking, miles of off road walking and bike trails or relax under the live oak trees on the private fenced back deck with grill. 10 minutes to downtown Fernandina Beach offering 90 restaurants, art galleries, unique boutiques and antique shops. Private off road parking. Don't be surprised if our peacocks come calling.

At the river you can relax, watch nature or read a book. We are a quick drive to great fishing.

2 blocks from the water and everything that makes down town Darien so special, Skipper’s waterfront seafood dining, Waterfront wine and Gormet, The Shanty for breakfast and coffee, Skippers Fish camp for waterfront dining. Take a boat tour with Georgia Tidewater Outfitters. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Bring your boat, the DARIEN BOAT RAMP IS 3 blocks away. Sapelo island is a 30 minute boat ride away. I/95 is less than 2 miles away for a quick overnight stay!

Ideal for couples, business and adventure travelers to relax in a "private" cottage on a bluff. Safe parking for vehicles. Tie a boat at the dock. Write or read a book, fish, watch birds, lay in a hammock or do some crabbing. Dine and visit historical and recreational areas. Steps lead down and up a private entry door of the cottage. Stay a week! (About 20 minutes to St. Simons Island and 40 to Jekyll Island beaches). Close to I-95 & Hwy 17. (A smoke-free and pet free cottage)

The Cabin at The Old Parrott Place

The Cabin at The Old Parrott Place is ideal for one or two people to stay overnight or for a week. It's rustic, but clean and comfortable, has a king bed, a claw-foot tub, an outdoor shower, a microwave, toaster, small fridge and complementary coffee and tea. Rocking chairs on the porch allow you to spend a little time outdoors enjoying the country air or listening to the birds. *Please Note * There is NO WIFI.

Coastal Cottage is less than a mile from the Jekyll And Saint Simon's Island causeways and Historic Downtown Brunswick. Savannah and Jacksonville and their airports are an easy hour away. Come love what we love about our adopted hometown! We are pet lovers! So your pets are welcome. There is a $25 one time pet fee per pet to help cover the cost of the extra cleaning needed when our furry guests check out.
