Our experience was incredible at the house. The landscapes and the view in front of the lake are beautiful. The house is exactly as shown in the website, with all the amenities, and we were really able to have a lovely Christmas in this place. without a doubt, I would recommend this house and the experience, especially since the host was very friendly and clear with the instructions.

We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

Dylan’s place was better than anticipated. Large, well-laid out, clean, beautiful views and well-stocked. I think most impressive was Dylan himself who was extremely responsive and friendly. He is a SuperHost. I would absolutely come back,

Absolutely stunning home on the water! Beautifully decorated and very well set up to host people. We had a wonderful time and the host was so quick to reply when we had any questions. We are looking forward to booking again in the future. The home is spotless. The beds are comfy, the hot tub was hot, the kitchen and appliances were unbelievably well thought out. The information given was so helpful in figuring out how to use everything. 10/10 experience and weekend. Thank you!!

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The location, the amenities, the surroundings - everything was near perfect. The host, Matt, was the icing on the cake. He was extremely helpful, easy to communicate with and was always looking out to ensure we had a good time at the property. This is pretty close to Tobermory and Lion’s Head lookout, has bikes and kayaks available and the kitchen has all the amenities. Would love to visit again!

We had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The place was just as described – clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt like a true home away from home, with all the amenities we needed and more. The host Alon was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. He was always available for all our questions , It was clear that he genuinely cared about our experience. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway!

The house was exactly like the photos - cozy, clean, and no clutter. Bathrooms were pristine, sheets and towels were in mint condition. Most of all the host was very responsive via FaceTime when we couldn’t get the sauna and fireplace to work - she had somebody come within the hour to help, on a holiday weekend. This was actually our first ever Airbnb experience and moving forward I’m afraid my standards are high now because of Christina’s home and hospitality. :)

The place is exactly how it was advertised. Everything in the property was well thought of in terms of what people might need in their stay. Kitchen was well equipped that I was able to cook without issues. The host provided info about the location and places to see which is very thoughtful. Probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in over the last 10 years of my Airbnb experiences. It’s beautifully stunning, in every way, and in a wonderful location. Jim is a perfect host, and his enthusiasm and passion for his property and the neighbourhood’s many assets is extremely welcome. If only I lived in this country, we would be back on a regular basis, for sure!

Fantastic stay from start to finish everything was perfect

Carina’s place is a small gem - cozy, neat and beautiful with a wonderful backyard. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

We enjoyed staying at the cottage and kayaking on the lake!

We had a wonderful 10-night stay! The house is even better than how it seems in the pictures. Right on the lake, with a wall of large windows facing the lake directly. Washroom has a big bathtub and another large window facing the lake. The balcony and dock are right outside. The house is very well-stocked, and has a fully functional kitchen (good enough for actually living there). Bryan and Pam were quickly responsive and kind, and also generously accommodated an extra request of ours. Neighbors are close, but the windows facing them have curtains, and it feels private. We can't wait to come again!

We just returned from a weekend stay at this beautiful cottage and it was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and picturesque, right on the water with all the amenities we needed. Ildiko was quick to respond if we had any questions and was accommodating where we had some requests regarding check out. An absolute gem of a place, amazing views and spectacular sunrises. Would definitely recommend staying here. We would love to be back in the warmer months to experience the additional facilities such as kayaking. The stay was amazing and the host was also very responsive. Highly recommend. Only there was water pressure issue. As someone takes a bath the water in the kitchen slows down and vice-versa. Other than this it was a must visit place.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

The cottage setting was spectacular! Quiet and peaceful with the amenities my group loves - big, comfortable common spaces, a large kitchen, and rooms for private, peaceful sleeping. The wood burning fireplace was a real treat.

We enjoyed our stay. More beautiful than the pictures. Caroline was very responsive. She offered us early check-in and accepted to check out at 11am instead of 10am. can't wait to go back in summer.

Really enjoyed our friends weekend getaway at this cottage. Very clean and well maintained!
