Lorette’s place is a tiny slice of heaven. I highly recommend staying here. The house is older but that’s what makes it so wonderful and have such great charm. The house was on a dead end which made it incredibly private and quiet. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful, bright rainbow and we’re treated to our very first time seeing the northern lights!! Rachel, Lorette’s sister was extremely friendly and helpful and they are both there for you if you need anything very responsive. I have to say it again I highly highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be back. If you have children she had such a wonderful stocked location of toys, coloring books sidewalk chalk and for adults plenty of movies and games and crossword puzzles . The backyard was my favorite with the huge deck and the view of the field and path to the water with the beautiful pine trees at the end. I enjoyed every morning with my tea and the birds thank you so much, Lorette!!

We had a struggle with the mortgage company for a home that had purchased near Yarmouth, but this made the hassles easier to deal with and it was a great location to get out and meet our new neighbors

We enjoyed a family weekend at Arin and Tobias' for my sons 19th birthday celebration. Their home is spacious, clean and both hosts are accomodating, friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed in a beautiful home with equally beautiful surroundings. We seal watched at the rocky unkept beach close by, there were several seals right next door. Some of the brave ones even swam at Cherry Hill beach in cold temperatures just a 15 minute walk from this air bnb (beautiful walking or swimming beach!) Highly recommend them for a comfortable and peaceful stay!

Gorgeous property. Better than photos convey. Decor is very tasteful, bathroom large and beautiful shower. Everything was done thoughtfully and professionally. Hosts were very responsive and clear. We got some snow during our stay and they were on top of having everything shoveled. Stayed for Christmas while visiting family and couldn’t get over how cozy the place was. I felt like I was staying in the Nova Scotian version of Kate Winslet’s cottage from “the holiday”. Would be gorgeous in the summer too.

My family had an excellent stay at Kelly’s Airbnb. It was clean, quiet, cozy, and warm. They left wonderful local recommendations and Kelly was friendly and accommodating. Would love to stay again! Highly recommend staying at this Airbnb!

Our stay was amazing and we have no complaints. We would definitely book this spot again! Check in and check out were simple and the host was quick to respond. All of the rooms in the house are bright with natural light and there is a view of the ocean from the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed and a big fridge. The gate to barricade the stairs was very handy to keep the children safe. The yard was well kept and included various gardens. Lots of space both inside and out. You can walk down the road to the ocean in about ten minutes. Thank you for a great week!

Andrea was easy to communicate with, accommodating and pleasant. Walking distant to beautiful Mavillette Beach. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming.

The place is as described and great location for our needs. Paul was very responsive to any questions we had!

Staying here is like being in another world, peaceful, private, and is a wonderful break from the everyday busyness The home is comfortable and makes you happy just being in the space I booked this place for the view, and would book here again, the view is worth it

If you are thinking to stay here, I highly recommend you do :) Our expectations were completely exceeded. The cottage and island are lovely!!! The pictures don’t do this perfect get away justice. Andddd visit the Mercantile in Cherry Hill… you’ll be glad you did :)

Super easy and cute! I don’t know how people can complain about a rooster because it’s just one and not very loud. My one suggestion is to include a bread knife. But it was great! Lots of outlets, heat is good, large fridge, no rickety old bathroom — water pressure and hot water are all good. Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway.

We booked to stay in Shelburne over Christmas as our daughter is doing an internship there .We were very pleased with accommodations , very modern and clean . Jerry was very responsive to all communication . I would highly recommend staying here and certainly will book again for our next visit .

We really enjoyed our trip, loved how private the location was so we were able to unplug from a very busy lifestyle. Their setup by the ocean is absolutely perfect! Kayla was very friendly to deal with and graciously came to setup the sauna whenever we needed. Highly recommend!

Loved this quiet peaceful space for a family getaway. Close to gorgeous beaches. 15-20min away from Carters beach and Summerville beach. The latter is a great beginner surfing beach.

Highly recommend this place!! I stayed here with three of my friends and it had everything we needed. It was a clear night and the stars were out so bright. This property also has beautiful views of the lake and is in a very peaceful area. To top it off, the host is wonderful at communicating! Check in was made extremely simple for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Das Argyle Loft liegt idyllisch in einem parkähnlichen Garten mit altem Baumbestand, direkt hinter dem schönen Herrenhaus der Besitzer. Wunderschöne Seen und Wälder in der Nähe. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr liebevoll ausgestattet und dekoriert mit schöner Kunst, die man auch kaufen kann, sowie viele angenehme Details, wie Nachtlichter, Hauscrogs, Schirm, Ideen für die Freizeitgestaltung auf einem Ipad…, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, Dusche mit sehr gutem Wasserdruck, Waschmaschine und Trockner, sehr bequemes Bett auf der Empore. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen zu 100% wenn man ein Naturliebhaber ist.

The Beachcomber Cottage is the perfect place to unwind and spend the holiday with family. The cottage has everything we need to feel right at home. The night sky was amazing. We loved every minute.

Great spot to stay! Super close to both Summerville and Carters Beach. Very clean and comfortable place. We wish we could’ve made use of the fire pit/hot tub as it was lovely, it poured rain during our whole weekend stay. Would love to return to this same location for a future stay.

Our stay was lovely and peaceful. The space is welcoming, and the sound and sight of the ocean waves is remarkable. We will come again in the future:)

We enjoyed our time at Castaway Ocean Lodge. The location is very peaceful and scenic. We wanted to escape from the city and relax while taking in the ocean views- the deck was a perfect place to hangout. We had already been to the area before, so we knew that most of our time would be spent at the cottage. It had everything we needed. Loads of board games, all cooking necessities and even some kayaks! We explored Crescent beach in Lockeport and drove down to Carter’s Beach for the day (well worth it). Thanks for having us!
