I enjoyed staying in this peaceful retreat located in the forest. I appreciated the location as it was easy to get to Freeland and central to the rest of the island for the activities I had planned for the weekend. Great stay for our little family. Loved the cottage and the neighborhood. It was close to many stores and easy access.

Martha and her husband were so nice even though we only seen them twice during our week stay. Both times Martha was super friendly and knowledgeable. there were beautiful views from the back yard of the property and right down the road aswell. my girlfriend and i had a great time exploring the Olympic national park and whole peninsula from her place. we will definitely be back to this amazing state and would stay here again in the future. Thank you again.

Super comfortable, great location. Quiet and peaceful.

The location had a peaceful and quiet neighborhood where we felt safe and at home, with a private and secure parking for our vehicle. The view was stunning and something that was enjoyed from the bed the moment we woke up. the residence had plenty of notes and tips layed out perfectly around the unit, in the evening we enjoyed a romantic setting with the living room fireplace and yard lights strung out which shined a shade of ease from the windows. highly recommend 👌

Jill and Tims place is a quiet, private backyard cottage that is full of beautiful art, a cozy bed and everything you need to settle in after long days. highly recommend

Highly recommend. I went 2 nights for a solo adventure. Very peaceful, the property in total is amazing, the view mesmerizing. So many different birds to see! Will definitely be back. Town is small and sweet. Kind locals. If it’s your thing, the episcopal church on main road north of town offers to all a beautiful labyrinth set in a wooded area. Very powerful walking meditation.

Stephen’s guesthouse was perfect. The neighborhood is charming and very walkable. The guesthouse was private, very clean and as lovely as the photos. I couldn’t be happier with my stay and I hope to return soon. Theresa

Absolutely loved our stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was responsive and thoughtful, making check-in and communication a breeze. The location was perfect—close to great restaurants and local attractions. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Michelle’s place was cozy and clean, in a great location, accessible to anything I wanted or needed to do within about a 15 minute drive. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in West Seattle, this is a great spot.

Excellent communication and a truly well-thought-out space. The unit had everything we needed—and more. Thoughtful touches like the projector, arcade game, and snacks made it extra fun. Spacious, comfortable, and perfect for both short and extended stays. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Richard was the most gracious host, greeting us when we got there. His pooch, Chompsky, was cute as can be and couldn’t wait to play with our Ollie. Beautifully decorated and super comfortable accommodations made us feel right at home and will definitely go back! His spot is about 15 min from a nice off leash dog beach and 6 min into town which was great! Restaurants were great - definitely recommend Saltwater for oysters and Front Street Grille for the best mussels, per Richard’s suggestion! Braeburn had incredible breakfast as well! Looking forward to another trip

We are former residents who visited friends and family in Seattle for an anniversary celebration. Nichelle has such an amazing and calming space. From the artwork/decor to the linens/furniture and the lovely garden views. Very thoughtful host with an attention to detail. A beautifully curated space that I highly recommend and would rent again.

We just had the most relaxing and memorable stay at Rick’s property. The amount of love he’s poured into his place and the ways he intentionally makes you feel cared for as a guest are so special and rare. From the moment we connected to meeting him in person, we’ve never had a more generous and kind host (and I say this as a well-traveled, frequent AirBnB guest). Rick’s place is immaculately clean. He has thought of every detail and even treated us to snacks, wine, and more which were truly above and beyond. From luggage racks to extra blankets to quality pillows to having a fan (my husband needs white noise to sleep), we were so impressed! The views and sunset are absolutely stunning and Rick’s place lets in a ton of natural light, while still respecting your privacy. My review doesn’t do the property or Rick’s hosting justice, but all of this is to say that we had an amazing stay and are already planning our return! I wish we could this 10 stars! Cute converted garage apartment. Tammy is very nice and was helpful during our stay. Convenient location to Seattle, lots of good food close to the house.

Perfectly located and comfy spot. Near the gorgeous Arboretum for endless exploration. It was gloriously in bloom when i was there. So many fabulous restaurants a stone throw a way. The icing on the cake though, the hummingbird sitting on her nest in the back yard....she knew this is a good safe spot to build her nest and care for her young.

Great place to stay, private, and with great surroundings. Rob is a great host, not only accommodated little early check-in but also didn't require lengthy check-out instructions which was amazing as we were short on time.

The place was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable! I got in late after a concert, and even though we accidentally woke the host, he was very kind and accommodating. I’ll definitely keep this spot in mind for future stays—thank you!

The uniqueness of the place becomes evident as you walk through the yard. It's comfortable but not overly manicured. The same can be said of the house. It's a garage converted to a house that still has the garage doors. It was clean, quiet, and surrounded by trees. We loved it—so much so that we will be staying there again next month. Two things of note: 1. If you plug in a couple of hair dryers and blow a circuit breaker, the fuse box is behind the refrigerator. 2. There is a step up to the shower and toilet, which can be surprising if you forget about them when you get up at night. Nothing major, just the quirks of a unique stay.
