Surrounded by trees, settled right on Lake Hayward sits this charming & cozy cabin in a little cabin community less than half a mile from downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin's entrance, bike into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the perfect location! This is a studio size cabin with one queen bed, sofa (with pull-out queen mattress), bathroom, kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker & outdoor grill.

We finished building this modern Scandinavian cabin in spring 2020. It’s been featured in Vogue and on Magnolia Network. The cabin sits at the end of the road on a private lot with a perfect view of sunsets over the nature side of the lake. Drive past farm fields, into the woods, and onto our private gravel road, arriving at the driveway. Watch loons, tundra swans, eagles, beavers and deer while you relax by the lake. This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Our place is a welcoming tranquil retreat. The modern home is set on 88 acres of land, which includes beautiful views (no lake access) of nearby Bass Lake. The house can accommodate 8 people in comfort. The land includes extensive walking trails to view the abundance of wildlife. Siren, Webster and Danbury are located within miles to the West and Shell Lake and Spooner are to the East, with Duluth and Hayward approximately an hour away.
