Our place is distinctive due to the life size plastic horse at the roadside. The room is spacious, comfortable, en-suite with lovely sea & countryside views, a wonderful destination after a busy day. We are 5 miles from the Skye Bridge & 2 miles to Broadford. A light breakfast is provided in the room, tea and coffee making facilities are included. There is a sofa to relax, watch some TV or just unwind. There is space to park your car and you are welcome to come and go as you please.

School House, Bernisdale, nr Portree, Skye -Room 3

This room is a twin room with a private shower room. The School House has views to Loch Snizort, is approximately 8 miles from Portree - Skyes capital, 13 miles to Dunvegan and the Castle and 14 miles to Uig. It is ideally situated for visiting the sites in the north of the Island, such as Fairy Glen, Kilted Rock and the Quiraing. We are happy to give advice on what to see on the beautiful Island!

We have lived in Skye for over 35 years and are happy to share local knowledge with you. We are keen walkers and cyclists and can suggest routes. Using your car we are nicely placed to visit fairy pools, visit Neist Point, with Portree just over 20 miles away, where you can see the Town and visit the Trotternish ridge, and journey around the Trottenish loop. Breakfast is included in the room price.
