Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

The location is down single lanes and we were busy reserving some of the time, but Pete’s directions were great and very clear. Hazel was very helpful on site when we tripped the electric. The site was clean and quiet, other campers were polite and friendly. The amenities were clean and functional, if a little dated. We struggled for phone signal which was prefect for switching off. Thank you Pete, have recommended your place to friends already.

Fantastic few days staying here with my son. He loved having the top bunk as a little hideaway space. Really easy to get to Barmouth by train and then on to the Barmouth Ferry and steam train at Fairbourne. Amazing waking up to the sight and sound of the sea every morning. Everything we needed in the hut. Really appreciated the outdoor seating on the deck too.

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

I have stayed at Gilwern several times, and as with each previous occasion I found Emma had made a huge effort to ensure the accommodation was very comfortable and well presented. I love the views, the peace and quiet, and always enjoy trying to find a fossil in the quarry. I will hope for another return trip in a year or two.

This stay was perfect for our long weekend with our 1 year old and 2 dogs. We were after a relaxing spot and this ticked all the boxes for us. Private, quiet and you can see the lambs from the hut, a perfect Easter break. Hosts are lovely, recommended for little breaks when you want to get away from busy life

The best Easter Weekend spent at the hut! Had everything we needed and more. Lots of little attention to detail and extras. It was 4 days we’ll never forget. Cerys was so helpful and lovely! Myself, my husband and our 8 year old had the best time and can’t recommend enough. Big thank you to Cerys’s gorgeous twin girls that were the best tour guides and friend to our daughter. We really didn’t want to go home. We’ll be back 🩷 xx

One of the best Air B&bs I've used. it was pristine. Private, comfortable, cosy and in a beautiful area with so much to do. Amanda was super helpful and friendly.

Fantastic stay! The place was so peaceful and such beautiful surroundings. The hut itself is finished to a really high standard and lovely attention to detail. Cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back 😊

We loved our stay at Fferm Fach farm! The hut is so pretty, the location is peaceful, inside it had everything you needed. The bed was really comfy, the space was clean and there were lots of helpful extras included such as shampoo, salt and pepper, washing up liquid, games. It was the perfect location for our hike up Snowdon as well. The farm hosts and Birch Stays were all really helpful when we had any queries. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

2nd time staying at this resort and does not disappoint. Booking to take the kids next time in the summer and then back next year again for our anniversary

Apart from the WiFi not working, everything was pristine. The breakfast served in the hotel was amazing. Both Louise and Henry were awesome hosts

Stunning views and very peaceful! Had visits from a friendly robin and some curious lambs in the field next door. Hot tub took a while to get going in the evening, but was worth the wait. Gorgeous, scenic walks in the local area and we got very lucky to have completely clear skies for stargazing at night. Suzi was very friendly and helpful. Wish we stayed longer!

We had an amazing stay here! Everything was spotless, including the bathroom. The hut was lovely and warm, with everything you need. The area was beautiful, with donkeys, horses and the lovely farm dog who came to visit us a few times. We felt very safe staying here. We were only a couple minutes drive from Conwy but it was also an easy 20 minute walk into the town. As well, it was a great location for hiking/ walking. With some beautiful trails only a 30 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you😊

Perfect location for a short break away in a relaxing setting but within close distance to the beaches on Anglesey. Everything we needed was available in the hut with a lovely welcome basket on arrival. The hut was absolutely amazing and Maggie is a fantastic host, couldn't do enough for us.

We arrived very tired but found everything easy. The room is well equipped for a self catering night or 2. Hot shower and a sound bed. Thank you Ruby.

had a fantastic stay at the shepherds hut! The hut was very clean and cosy with everything provided. the surrounding views of the hills and mountains were outstanding! Beth as a host was amazing, she made sure we had everything we need and went extra doing things like lighting the hot tub so it was ready for our arrival. my gf and I are already talking about coming back, I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Our week here was absolutely glorious. I would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay. This is one of the best huts we've ever been to. It was immaculate and the views were outstanding. Watching the sunset here from the hot tub should be on everyone's bucket list. Manon is an excellent host and went out of her way to welcome us. We are already planning our second trip.

Abbey and her family are truly something special. They’ve created a fantastic place that invites you to stay longer. Unfortunately, we only had three nights. If you love nature, animals of all kinds, and warm-hearted people, this is the perfect spot for you. 10/10! ❤️❤️❤️

We had a glorious stay in the Shepherds Hut! Totally off the beaten track and surrounded by calving cows and idyllic lambs - my small children were mesmerised! There is everything you could need for a short break, the tea / coffee and toiletries are a great touch. Definitely more space than you think. The bottom bed / Harry Potter cupboard den kept the kids entertained for ages and is brilliant with the cubby hole and charging points. It’s actually brilliant for small children who would usually need a cot side and need darkness to sleep! We would love to come back :)
