I choose this place specifically because of my internship at Grameen Bank and the positive ratings. What I can tell other people who have never visited Bangladesh is, Trust the process if you're still unsure about these accommodations. I was first uncertain about what to pack and how much preparation I should have. Before I made this reservation, we had developed excellent communication and had spoken on the phone and via messenger for more than a month. I had problems with the sim card when I first got to Bangladesh, but Roman was kind enough to let me use his phone and willing to solve the problem with me. I lived in three different countries while growing up and have traveled frequently, and when I visit a new country, it’s significant to have a guardian as much as a comfortable home to stay in who is knowledgeable about local regions and cultures. Since I don't speak Bengali, his stepdaughters often accompany me whenever I go out. I got to know his daughter well and loved every second of our conversations. He helped me drop me off at the Grameen bank office on the first day and spoke to my supervisor. Roman’s wife, Shilpi cooks the best Khichuri and Chicken Polao. I still didn’t give up on convincing her to open her restaurant or publish her recipe books. We decided to have lunch together every day because I absolutely love her cooking. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and the family and friends I met in this country. I did not imagine this level of hospitality and kindness before arriving. I would be happy to speak with anyone who is reading this and is still unsure about this accommodation to clear up any concerns. Again, I want to thank Roman for his dedication and effort to make my stay the best it could be.

We had a great stay at Ali's & Rita's for 5 nights. The location is perfect in Vagator, everything is nearby. Loved the rooms, with a balcony to chill. They have a restaurant, and specializes in North African, French and Thai cuisine. And must say, the food was great! Ali & Rita has been responsive, and been a great host. Will surely come back!

Heel fijn en ruim verblijf met een eigen keuken, zitruimte en badkamer. Gelegen in een zijstraat, dus rustig en toch vlakbij alle restaurants, strand… Lieve en vriendelijke mensen.

You will be in awe when you see the place for the first time. It is more than what you would expect. simply an amazing place to live.

Takbir's place is thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated and conveniently located in relation to historic monuments. Glad I chose her place and hope to return in the future!

Loved the garden and overall a great place to stay

Thilan’s place is beyond my expectation! It is located at a quiet village, only 7 to 8 mins Tuktuk from the beach. The room is spacious and super clean, with all necessary amenities! Thilan and Buddhi were really helpful. You can easily go to restaurants nearby or at the beach by messaging Buddhi and let him take you. Highly recommended this place if you want to have a quality stay while enjoying the beach at Hikkaduwa.

Great host one of the best view of shimla from the property and best in class facility and best and a 5star class like rooms and stay. We had a great time and enjoyed alot

We (6 Adults and 2 kids) stayed at Jose's place for 2 nights. He received us personally and accommodated all our requests w.r.t food preferences, visit to nearby places, suggestions etc. graciously. His property is very well constructed with thoughtful designs particularly in the dining area, washrooms and beds. The property is on a beautiful hill top and has another one coming up next to it as well shortly. He gave personal attention and his caretaker, cook are excellent too. They prepared great authentic Kerala cuisine that was mouthwatering. The food was reasonably priced and worth every rupee. We couldn't however visit the pond since the trek was difficult for kids and elderly. But we loved the place and hope to visit again in future.

Clean ,crisp with private entrance ! I really liked how the place is done overall. Good music system ,pool table and the projector was refreshing . Lots of gurugram cafés and bars around. Worth it !

My husband and I stayed with Jacky & Igmar for 1 month. We loved our stay. We are fitness swimmers so their 25 metre 6 lane pool was a delight and a big draw for us. We often swam several times per day. They were great hosts. If you needed something and couldn’t find it, Jacky would either point us in the right direction or provide it for us herself. For example, we wanted good bread. Well, Jacky makes a truly great & healthy loaf of bread. We were so impressed! Also they rent out a couple of scooters so it’s just so easy with Jacky at SCGalle. We loved living in a local neighbourhood that was close to everything, yet far enough away that it was very peaceful. In fact, we were right next to a buddhist temple that certainly added to the peaceful atmosphere. From our deck we often saw many different colourful birds and playful monkeys. And we can’t forget to mention, Rex, Jacky & Igmar’s lovable dog. We will definitely stay with them again. Reid & Monica 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Amazing stay very peaceful place to stay

Mittendrin in der vibrierenden Großstadt, die nie wirklich schläft; dadurch sehr laut bis in die Morgenstunden. Tolle Aussicht, gute Basis für die Stadterkundung; Bad sehr sauber, Dusche etwas wenig Wasserdruck. Gutes Wlan.

At the far west end of the lake, away from the hustle bustle of Pokhara's more populated tourist areas. Very quiet at night, comfy beds, and very, very clean. The private balcony on the east side of the loft has a view of the whole lake. At night, I saw the lights all around the lake. The simple kitchen has enough, and Gayatri loaned me whatever else I needed. A very friendly family! Watched the local life on the lake this morning from the 360° rooftop view. Best wifi I've had since I got here, with a good work table and chairs inside, and a table and chairs on the balcony. I think it's better than in the pictures! The big windows let in the breeze and the views, and the high ceilings, and ceiling fan, helped keep it cool. I was very hungry when I arrived and Gayatri prepared a delicious omelette and roti. So easy to check in, get a snack, have a shower, and a nap. Just what I needed. Highly recommend this place, and will return on this trip.

As always, this was a great decision

I was there for 7N. The loft was really amazing. It was clean and well maintained, the service also was on point. Sudeep was kind enough to let us extend our stay, we had a late check-out as well. I really loved the stay here it felt homely. It is closer to the tourists spots as well but in a quiet locality, the view from the apartment is amazing and would book it again when I'm in Sikkim again. Overall I'd rate it a 10/10 and would definitely recommend this stay!

One of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. Garima and Arjun were very proactive and gave us detailed directions. The place was easy to find and located close to the metro station and market. It was in a quiet residential area. The hosts had also left snacks and goodies for us, which was very thoughtful. The place is cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a short stay 😄

I had a lovely stay at Dolly aunty's place. The loft is located bang in the middle of town but down a cul de sac, once you take the alley to the house, the traffic noise ceases and you enter a residential area that's quiet and peaceful. All local conveniences are located at walking distance. The apartment has a private terrace that overlooks Kalimpong town and the neighbouring mountainscapes. The bedroom is spacious, well ventilated with lots of windows and natural light. The kitchen unit is separate, next to the apartment, on the terrace. You can watch the clouds pass by the mountains as you cook/eat your meals. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials, which in my case made long stay possible. This is a comfortable, safe, gem of a place, especially if you're a solo female traveler looking for long term rental. Dolly aunty is very easy to communicate, relatable and considerate, she always checked on me if I was ok and if I needed anything. Will definately revisit again.

We stayed here in November 2024. Both the Owner Sailik and the manager Joydeep are very helpful and friendly. They were ready to help and the apartment was very clean with good privacy. The main roads are outside the housing block and therefore it was comfortable to sleep with less noise . There is a big balcony to dry clothes etc. The balcony can be improved and made attractive with green plants and flowering pots. In the bath room, at present there is no fast flow of water on the floor, which needs to be improved. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay very much. I will recommend this to all who like to have more than just a hotel room. GS Road is very close and one can get bus from there to any place.

This was a perfect little hideout bang in the middle of Indiranagar. Varsha was always responsive and easy to reach. She made the extension of my stay smooth when I had to change plans at the last minute. Highly recommended for solo travelers
