The house is 25-30 minutes walk from the Hobart wharf/Salamanca /Hobart city. The house itself is warm and friendly with 3 to 4 good sized bedrooms and a large, sunny open plan kitchen, dinning, lounge area with (in winter) a clear view of beautiful Mt Wellington. A playground, basketball/tennis courts and oval are just around the corner. Great location for kids.

Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Laneway hideaway

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

Wake up with Mt Wellington in your window and sunlight streaming through. This top level South Hobart apartment is sunny and private - you will feel immersed in beautiful bushland, but still enjoy easy access to the city, and Hobart's famous waterfront (just a 10min drive into the Hobart CBD/Salamanca and a 15 min drive to the top of Mt Wellington). The Bakehouse - character - history - convenience

The bake house is a unique historical building circa 1880 that has been converted into contemporary accomodation. It is part of a precinct of three buildings, all relating the same function of supporting "Watson's" Bakery in the shop facing Macquarie street (now a funky homewares shop). You get to enjoy a three bedroom house. Three bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and toilet, living kitchen, dining and laundry downstairs. You have your own private courtyard with a picnic setting.

Laneway 98 is a charming retreat nestled in the heart of South Hobart.
