You can easily walk, bike, or bus to awesome places to see, drink, eat, visit, etc. An excellent launching point for all of the Rose City, we are a short bike ride or bus to Downtown, museums, and concert venues. The Magic Barn is located in the heart of Hawthorne's charming restaurant and boutique district: 3 blocks SE Hawthorne & Division, 15 min to airport, 10 min to downtown & Moda Center, under 7 mins to any concert venue in SE Portland, 1 block to cafe. The Magic House can be booked separately in conjunction with the Magic Barn for large groups. This was Todji's sculpture studio, he designed & built the Magic Barn.

The guest cottage offers self check-in. It is located in a quiet neighborhood in SE Portland. High ceilings make this studio airy and bright. We think of it as a perfect hotel room without the hotel. The small galley kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal including filtered water. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower. Urban Oasis Retreat + sauna

Our guest house is a completely private space, accessible by an outdoor walkway, and has an outdoor patio. We designed the space to be light-filled, feel cozy yet roomy, fitting a lot into a small space. Vaulted ceilings, a ceiling fan, full kitchen, bathroom, a bed alcove with a comfy queen mattress and soft bedding and lots of extra touches. Our 335 sq ft guest house is fitted with all you'll need for your time in Portland.
