SUGARBIRD HOUSE EDENVELDT FARM

I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

Within walking distance from Taaibosch, Pink Valley and Avontuur Wine and stud farm. Just across the R44 Ken Forrester Wines is luring. For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

This modern and architectural house is well-designed with ample glass, allowing for light filled interiors offering the same panoramic ocean views as outdoors. Our studio apartment opens up onto a 40sq meter balcony with a panoramic view of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.

The house has 180 degree views over the Ocean, with fresh clean air and the sound of the ocean below.

Grysklip High Mountain Stone Cottage, Cederberg

This grey-stone cottage is built against a rock face which is a dramatic back wall for the interior. All the stone used for the walls was collected nearby, so the cottage disappears into the landscape. The views are spectacular in every direction. The interior is cosy with wooden floors and Cape furniture and Himalayan textiles. There are two 3/4 beds. The bathroom has a shower set against the rock-face, and there is a wonderful double outdoor bath.

Dassieshoek - Ou Skool

Situated in the mountains of Robertson, this double volume, beautifully restored Old School is a tranquil getaway for the whole family. There is a gorgeous eco pool and plenty of amenities for children. Located next to the Marloth Nature Reserve, the house is at the beginning of the Arangieskop Hiking Trail. Mountain biking, hiking, birding and river and dam access mean that there are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.
