What a wonderful, peaceful oasis! The treehouse at the Shire is just incredible! The hosts were very welcoming and communicative. The grounds and property are just stunning. There are also trails and a trail map to adventure on the property. They also have a very sweet pup, Bo, who became best friends with my dogs (after a friendly introduction and me asking if he was free to play). I can’t say enough positive things about this place! Great location to hike and have a peaceful respite, but close to restaurants too! Also, LGBTQ+ friendly!

Perfect fall getaway with stunning colors and views. Great location to get around the White Mountains, easy access to I-93 but super quiet and peaceful property. Cute little cabin perfect for sleeping at the end of a long day. Gunnar was always responsive and greeted us as soon as we arrived, showed us around and gave great hiking recommendations. We made a fire on the chilly night and enjoyed the peace. Beautiful brook about a 15 minute walk through the woods:) I totally recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint cabin in a very quiet wooded area just a few minutes from downtown boothbay harbor. The cabin was clean and organized and our host left detailed instructions and recommendations for multiple activities/restaurants in the area. Fireplace was great to have to complete our quiet calm weekend away. Perfect for 2 who want to get away, and be able to go exploring in a beautiful Maine town. We were staying in the area for a wedding, and had the best accommodations in comparison to the loud and overpriced hotel.

I had a wonderful weekend at this cabin! It’s cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The view is beautiful. Perfect for relaxing and disconnecting for a bit. The host was very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back!

Came for the Fall colors; left in love with the place! Small but delightful. Cluttered in the most fantastical way. Nestled in paradise. Bonnie is so nice and friendly! Pay attention to the fact that the toilet is not attached to house. Short walk to privet and very clean!

Beautiful place. Lovely decorated. I would say that it is probably a little expensive for staying there in the winter/ fall time. Only one of us could sit on the couch at a time due to its location by the tv. The shower is really small and there is no room for toiletries in the bathroom at all. There is a rack but I had to keep all my bathroom stuff in bags the entire time because it is just lacking in space. I would think The price is worth it if you’re staying there in the summer and get to use the lake.

We have rented this adorable log cabin many times and look forward to our next visit! The host is very responsive and friendly and we can not recommend this lovely stay enough.

A wonderful couple and cute shack under the stars! I really enjoyed my stay at the Shackhilton. Karen and Peter were very friendly and came out to help me get settled and kept me entertained with great banter. The place was very clean and cozy. I would definitely go back!

My wife and I came here after our wedding on a 'mini-moon' just to get away and reflect on our wedding. We've been here once before, and this trip was just as good as the last, even though the weather wouldn't cooperate most of the weekend. The hosts were again very proactive and responsive - we had one very minor issue (that I wouldn't have even mentioned) and the host proactively reached out to apologize for the minor inconvenience. They also left us a little somethng to commemorate our wedding and make us feel special. We again couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a memorable, unplugged escape.

My wife and I were both very pleased. Private, beautiful setting, rain or shine. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities were very complete.

We had a fantastic long weekend at The Conscious Cabin! The house is incredibly well taken care of, super clean, and exactly as advertised. Cassouki did a great job of leaving instructions exactly where you needed them! The cabin was so incredibly cozy and just a short drive to North Conway Shops and anything you would want to do. Already planning our next trip there!

The location was convenient and easy to find, I really enjoyed the space.

We thought this was a wonderful Air BandB! It is a modern, well built building nestled in the woods with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Everything is clean and comfortable, easy parking and a very nice deck. You are within 10 minutes of good restaurants, a great food coop and nice hikes. We would definitely return!

I booked this after booking tickets to a nearby show. I was going to cancel, but wasn’t able to sell the tickets. So, I went to New Hampshire, and I’m SOO glad I did! The road noise (hwy) was evident when outside. But, it’s not so much that I won’t book again. I loved the coffee / tea set up. ( coffee pour over 🥰 if you don’t know, use the google)! I didn’t even use the pre brewed espresso I bought! Most importantly; As soon as I entered the cottage I felt a great sense of calm & peace. I booked a solo stay and felt very safe throughout my stay. The smoke detector was chirping & Lance was there to fix it literally within a minute! Had a couple of good conversations with him; I definitely plan to book again!

This place is pure heaven. Solitude and super peaceful. Sam was super communicative and check in was a breeze. The fire pit overlooking the water was a treat and Sam had the heater on prior to my arrival. Woke up to the sound of rain on the roof and some bald eagles flying overhead. Exactly what I needed to escape the chaos of the city.

This place was so so soooo wonderful. it perfectly had everything we needed for a little getaway. No phones, just nature in private. the space is so cute and the decor is lovely. It was well thought out and just LOVELY. Would definitely stay again!

Ren's place was perfect! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. It's cool, clean and within short walking distance to everything in downtown Brunswick. Added bonuses included a private hot tub and a washer / dryer in the unit. On top of that Ren was very responsive and accommodating. I had unexpected changes to my itinerary and she was able to help me book extra nights on very short notice. Thanks Ren!

We’ve stayed in countless Airbnbs, and from first stepping onto the property we knew this one would live at the top of our all-time favorites list. It’s the most thoughtfully decorated and well appointed Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in, with more high-end finishes, appliances, and extras than we can even name. The only thing nicer than this sweet cottage is its host family. Suzie and Neal went above and beyond every step of the way to ensure we felt warmly welcomed and had everything (and more) that we needed. You will absolutely not regret booking a stay here - so click ‘reserve’ quickly before you lose your chance. We’re counting the days until we can return!

Marie & Tim were excellent hosts. So friendly, detailed, accommodating, and their recommendations were excellent. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to make sure you have everything you need, and more. The cabin is a beautiful, rustic cabin with all the feelings of home. The furnishings and décor made it so perfect. On approach to the property, the lighting and appearance is so beautiful. It was like driving into wonderland. I hated having to go home! I wanted to stay forever! I cannot wait to go back! Thank you Marie & Tim!

Angie and Brandon were great hosts! They were very responsive and took care of all of our needs. The hot tub was perfect in the cold February weather. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in nature, this is a great place to visit!
