Nearby attractions include RevRail for rail biking, white water rafting on the Hudson River, Gore Mt and Garnet Hill for skiing and pristine 13th Lake. Elsewhere on property: wood fired pizza in summer, an on site bakery, new cedar sauna and cedar hot tub in a Japanese temple. We have glamping tents and several additional cabins. Enjoy kayaking, tubing, fishing, or swimming in Adirondack Lake, few minute walk to town for dinner, drinks, entertainment. It is 20 minutes from Gore Mountain, many hiking trails, 15 minutes from the Adirondack Museum. Indian lake offers free of charge an ice skating rink, skates, and sledding area at their ski center. We offer snow shoes, cross country skis, sleds.We have a pool table and foose ball table to use.

Our camp is located the heart of the Adirondacks in upstate NY . It is a beautiful four season cabin on Lake Abanakee . The camp is adorned with Adirondack art and furnishings made by my artisan friends and I. Lake Abanakee is a favorite for canoes, kayaks, photographers, fishermen and families. Enjoy glamping in our new screened in lean to or swimming and boating from our private beach. Although our camp looks like a rustic retreat, we have high speed internet and all the modern conveniences.

ADK's South Shore Retreat

Enjoy your time in the ADK relaxing at our newly renovated, private and spacious home. This is a 4 season retreat. We have lake rights to Lake Pleasant-swimming, kayaking, or canoeing are only a 10 min walk. Please note: our lake access is shared with neighbors. Rent a boat for a day of fun. There is also plenty of hiking nearby. In the winter, enjoy the slopes, Oak Mountain is 5 mins away and Gore Mountain, only 30 mins. There is quick trail access for your snowmobile as well.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and private apartment in the heaven on earth that is Schroon Lake. We have traveled around the globe, staying in a myriad of vacation rentals. Since then, we've renovated the private apartment attached to our home to accommodate guests and we hope to take our countless stays into consideration to create the best possible guest experience here in the lovely place we call home, the Adirondacks! Or enjoy a campfire and watch the sunset through the trees. Use this as your home base for a ski trip or take a trip to Schroon lake, Brant lake or Lake George. (Roughly 30mins)
