The reviews It was conveniently located near the Nintendo Museum (only 4 stops on the Kintetsu line). Living in a traditional Japanese house and talking to Japanese people was a great experience. It was a 2-minute walk from the bus stop that took me directly to Fushimi Inari. The view from the top was amazing, overlooking the city of Kyoto. It's a little far from the center but it was quiet and I slept well. Uzu introduced us to some restaurants around the inn, and they were all delicious.

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. 江戸時代に建てられた２階建ての土蔵を改装し、ゲストハウスとしました。 広くはないですが、土壁や太い梁など土蔵の雰囲気を残しながら、１階にIHクッキングヒーター付きのキッチンを設置。１階、２階にエアコンを完備し、快適に過ごせます。 土蔵ならではの遮音性や夏の涼しさ、冬の暖かさを体験いただけます。 ご希望であれば、挽きたての豆で淹れる珈琲をご賞味ください。 車で１５分程度のところに姉川温泉、いぶき薬草湯があります。姉川温泉は回数券をご提供できます（一般価格より割安で）。送迎についてはご相談下さい。 周辺はたびたび歴史の舞台となった長浜ならではの観光スポットが多くあります。 国宝の彦根城や豊臣秀吉の長浜城、石田三成の生誕地、日本屈指の山城・小谷城、合戦の地・賤ヶ岳、など。また関ケ原合戦地までは車で２０分足らずです。 琵琶湖周辺のほか、日本最古の鉄道駅舎・長浜鉄道スクエアや子供も遊べるヤンマーミュージアム、黒壁スクエアなど歴史以外の楽しみもいっぱいです。 近江牛、鴨料理、焼鯖そうめん、のっぺいうどん、サラダパンや鴨、小鮎などグルメも楽しめます。

A newly built steel-frame unit apartment built by SEKISUI CHEMICAL CO., LTD. with highly airtight rental specifications. 12 minutes walk from JR Katsuragawa Station. There are McDonald's, Lawson, Yoshinoya, Discount Store Japan, etc. within a 5-minute walk. You can also use it for leisurely entertainment viewing on Netflix. There is a Yamato Transport office nearby, so it is possible to send luggage from the airport and pick it up at the nearby office.

Lake Biwa Lakeside villa

We have a Canadian house, just a stone through away from the beautiful Lake Biwa. Suitable place to stay for family trip, with friends and work trip. For 7guests or less, we rent 3 bed rooms (with 8 beds) For 8guests or more, we can rent the extra cabin space which is still part of the building but usually there is no access.(5 bed rooms and an attic, 12 beds and extra bathroom) please see photos and enquire within. - No Party - No BBQ after 9pm
