Breakfast supplies including muesli, fruit, yoghurt, bread for toast. Fiber B/Band. Not fancy accommodation. Good quality linen and comfortable bed.

We love this beautiful little self contained alpine chalet style house we have created on our property. Only 15 minutes walk (or less than five minutes drive) to either the lake front or the town centre, it is perfectly situated for a break in Taupo. With a double bed , bunk beds, sofa bed, beautiful kitchenette, wood burning stove, coffee machine, large TV, lounge area, dining area and off street parking, this newly refurbished property has everything you need for a cosy and comfortable stay.

Cosy private cabin for unwinding after adventures

Our small but mighty cabin has everything you need for a cosy stay in Taupō. Located on a residential street only a 15-minute walk to the lake, it’s a great launching pad for local adventures. The fully self-contained cabin is on the front of our property with its own private deck and comfy outdoor chairs with warm woolly blankets for star gazing. If the weather is chilly, tuck up inside and watch a movie (bring your passwords to stream your fav shows) or grab a book from the little library.

A Quiet, peaceful hideaway by the Waikato river

Fully self-contained 2 bedroom unit complete with wood burner (Wood Burner available from May to September only) or electric heater for those brisk Taupo winters. Peaceful sheltered surroundings, relaxing environment, all you need for a great getaway. There are views of the Waikato River from the bedroom window and walking/bike tracks nearby that lead to Spa Park where the adventure begins. Our home sits high on a hill with amazing views over Lake Taupo and the surrounding countryside. The two bedroom cottage has a separate lounge area with a well stocked kitchenette, heat pump and large deck plus a private patio. Just down the hill is Whakaipo Bay recreational area with calm swimming waters and access to the W2K track. Our home is perfect for anyone who is looking for a rural outlook only minutes from town. It is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view!

Discover Fantail Cottage - a centrally located, fully self-contained haven in a quiet, leafy garden setting. Enjoy all the comforts of home, including off-street parking, air-con and Wi-Fi. Amble to our local shops with cafe, superette and butcher. 5 minute walk to the lakefront. 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the CBD. While it's ideally set up for individuals or couples, the cottage also has a quaint, 1/2 sized children's room with a single loft bed or a floor mattress.

In the popular holiday haven of Acacia Bay, this is a great base to leap in to water/hiking adventures or to just curl up on the couch with a little Netflix. The lake is just around the corner (literally!) and there's much to see & do. Your space is newly renovated with a kitchenette, yummy cereals, comfy extras like games, books, wifi and Chromecast. Your haven is 6 mins by car to the centre of town, 3 mins walk to the lake, 1 min walk to a local pub & store.

The Cottage is a boutique living space, recently renovated and refurnished to a high standard, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience for your stay in Taupo. Fully self contained, with a brand new super comfy bed, it is a private haven, although we're not far away if there's anything we can do to help. With unlimited internet, it's own private outdoor setting, it's the perfect option for weekend break, a longer stay, or if you're just passing through.

Our house, Taupo NZ

Our place is a modern, cosy, self-contained (no oven/stovetop) furnished apartment with private guest access. It is warm, sunny and close to the lake and shops. It is quiet, comfy and clean with double glazing and a modern heat pump. We welcome couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and friends. We live upstairs and try to keep noise to a minimum but you can expect to hear us sometimes.
