Loved the house, we stayed for Christmas it was perfect for our needs. The host had put up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. It was super Christmassy and a short walk into town for the lights and a few drinks in the pub. The house was warm, clean and the host was welcoming - we were so happy with everything! We had a perfect family Christmas all together with lots of space. The house is decorated querky and interesting - we loved it.

The comms and welcome were perfect. Great position with amazing views across the bay. Walking distance to everything you need. Very clean and tidy. Beds were good enough. Seems a little bit expensive for a fairly old style caravan but we had a great time and knew what we were getting so overall very happy with this booking. Thank you for being so friendly.

Very friendly and great communication. Spacious bedrooms that are clean and tidy and are well glazed to minimise traffic noise from the main road. The property is situated near loads of amenities in Plymouth and was easy and quick to get to. The views from the rooms were lovely, tranquil and ever changing with the tide and weather. Just be mindful that to get those views there are loads of steps! There are binoculars in the main bedroom to spot wildlife when the tide is out. There aren’t any bins in the bedrooms or bathroom so had to use my dogs unused poo bags so be prepared. There is a lay-by for locals parking (3 cars) which is straight off the busy main road. I couldn’t park at the back of the property as my SUV was too big to get the right angle to park (as it’s a fairly busy narrow lane) so if you have a small-ish car you’ll be fine. Overall a lovely bungalow to base yourself in Plymouth but just be prepared for the steps and parking.

Had a lovely stay at Tracy’s place. Tracy was a wonderful host and we felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is spacious, quiet and clean. There is a pub and local parade of shops less than a 10 mins walk away and Torquay town centre is 20 mins down the road (the walk back is all uphill though). I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Thank you so much. We had an amazing time. The deluxe lundy villa is beautiful and what an incredible view! All was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be returning when visiting our close friends in Bideford!

We had a lovely few days . Great location. Friendly staff. The pier restaurant was lovely and we booked sunset 🌅 slot and had dinner while the sunset .

Stunning house in a gorgeous village just a short train outside of Exeter. Ideal and comfortable for our group of 11 to sleep, eat, relax and then travel into the city for an event over the weekend. Richard was excellent throughout, communicated well and was exceptionally welcoming. The house is exceptionally well equipped and more than suitable for our needs. Highly recommended.

Rose Cottage is a lovely, old fashioned, quirky cottage - with lots of interesting objet d’art to discover throughout your time there. I loved how it is tucked away from the street, making it a really private space. Danielle was really informative about the surrounding areas and was on hand for queries. The living space downstairs is really relaxing (two of us learnt how to play chess in the lounge!) The outdoor space is really valuable as, I should imagine, in Appledore having a big garden is a real treat. The location is amazing - a minute’s stroll down to the quay - with the wonderful local shop, John’s, a stone’s throw away. We had fantastic weather, having lots of hot beach days in Croyde and Saunton Sands, but also loved catching the 5 minute ferry across to Instow village and beach. The attics bedrooms were a little warm (it was a very hot week), but Danielle kindly provided us with a fan which certainly helped on the top floor. Appledore is a magical place with beautiful cottages, great restaurants and Sylvester’s fish and chips are scrumptious - the first time I think I have ever managed to eat a whole battered cod! Thanks Danielle for a truly wonderful week’s holiday with the family.

We loved its quirkiness, but Weeke Barton is an old building with uneven floors and low ceilings and spiral staircases which were a challenge. The stairs didn’t defeat us, but they are tricky. The rooms are warm even when a log fire is needed, which is recommended, and the beds are very comfy. All the bedrooms are great and full of history and character, which is the same for the whole of Weeke Barton. The location is also ideal for exploring Dartmoor, for riverside running and good food pubs. There is enough to do locally when it rains, and perfect walks for when it’s sunny. A madcap feast for the eyes! If you want a standard Airbnb filled full of IKEA then this place isn’t for you. If you want an authentic (and original) experience in a great location - then book it. Open fires, art, antiques, the sea all make up the DNA of Appledore and typify Myrtle Cottage as a microcosm of North Devon’s prettiest fishing village (that you don’t have to pay to visit!)

A beautiful place with lots of space . We went over Easter with 9 adults 2 children and 2 dogs . The property is very spacious and all the bedrooms are a good size . The downstairs games room is huge fun :) The location is excellent with a cable car to get down to the beach and lots of pubs / restaurants very close to the house . Torquay Marina is a 10 minute drive but well worth it . We had fun crabbing at the Marina and a superb roast lunch in Twenty one . Simon and Charlie were excellent hosts and answered any queries very quickly . Highly recommend this property.

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

Lovely few days away in a small complex of lodges, staff on site very approachable and a very short distance to the lake. The cafe and restaurant didn’t seem that inviting and very quiet for Easter but that’s no reflection on Roz place. We enjoyed the hot tub unfortunately we weren’t able to use the outside lounging area due to weather being mixed. We enjoyed travelling to Bude (beautiful place) and we enjoy going to strawberry fields farm and coffee shop. The site is very peaceful and the lodges are set out so everyone is well spaced out and Roz has a lovely position overlooking the field (no animals currently). My husband used the gym once which was handy. Thanks for a nice few days

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.

The Villa was amazing! The hot tub, sauna, and bonfire were great features of the house, which my 7 friends and I enjoyed during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to messages, and ensured we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The only issues we ran into during our stay was that coffee machine was very temperamental, and the skylight in the double room upstairs had no blind so as soon as the sun rose at around 5am it was hard to get back to sleep.

WOW!! - Foxgloves Retreat is a truly magical place. As a family of 3, we have just returned from an Easter break and it was simply unbeatable. We were so well looked after from the minute we booked and arrived. Stella and Trevor were incredibly friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was fantastic. The house is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, exceptionally well maintained and cosy too. Views over the parkland were really special - the colours, the local community enjoying themselves, lots of very happy waggly tails and birdsong. The garden is magnificent - the well manicured plants, colours and wildlife were captivating. Loved the escapism it offered, so private and extensive - great for exploring & hide and seek! The hot tub is huge, the views out were mesmerising and the sauna was a real treat after a busy day spent walking the beautiful and easily accessible coast path. Cannot wait to return in August.
