Kayak Cottage - solitude with river access

Recently transformed from a horse barn, Kayak Cottage now bears little resemblance to its former use - the hosts managed to retain the former barn's rustic charm while completely redesigning the structure. An eclectic mix of materials were re-purposed to create the welcoming space - both inside and out. Located on a rise above the Collins River - the river is not immediately visible but is only steps away! There is also easy access for launching kayaks or small fishing boats on the property.

1200 sq. ft. very rustic converted pole barn. The floors are stained concrete and the walls are rough saw mill hewn poplar boards. Located on 3 acres of beautiful well kept property. It does not border the lake but is surrounded by Tims Ford Lake and less than 5 minute drive to 3 boat docks and launches. Dairy Barn circa 1950 nestled next to a pond on 680-acre Pleasant Valley Farm. The "Dairy Barn" was fully functioning until the 1980s. Although completely renovated, the original ceramic tiles remain in what was the milking bay, now a cozy den. The Milk Barn Cottage

Built in the late 1940's as a working milk barn, the Milk Barn Cottage is 800 sq. ft of cozy comfort. The cottage is near the foot of Monteagle Mountain in the beautiful Pelham Valley. We are half-way between Nashville and Chattanooga, about 2 miles off exit 127 on I-24. The Caverns is about an 8 minute drive away. Pelham has quaint restaurants to visit plus all of the natural beauty in our area. We are also just 13 miles from Sewanee and the University of the South.

This home is located in the side of a rustic 1950's barn. Large kitchen-dining room, patio, and a screened porch are some of the best features. Acres of pasture to roam too! The Barn is close to Restaurants, Shopping, Grocery Stores, Parks, Banks AND close enough (w/in 25min) to All Things Downtown Nashville...Nissan Stadium (Titans, Concerts, ect), Bridgestone Arena (Preds, Concerts, ect), Schermerhorn Symphony Center (concerts, events), and much more... But you will love The Barn because of the quiet location. It is at the end of a dead end road on a secluded hill but less than 5 minutes off the highway.
