Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Built in the late 1950's the renovated Lowveld farmhouse is the place to take it easy. The wide stoep looks into a lush, mostly indigenous subtropical garden. The nearby irrigation canal provides a peaceful backdrop of sound as the water gurgles past. Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, work and generate electricity, is based on being environmentally sustainable. We are completely off-grid, no power or water cuts!

Hackle Lodge

Two hours from Johannesburg, and one and a half hours from Pretoria, High in the Mpumalanga Mountains. Hackle is quietly situated on a mountain estate that is home to many wild birds and animals. It boasts 4 trout fishing dams. There's a SPA at the hotel. Putt Putt, swimming pool, tennis court, and many more fun things to do. We have about 12 Kms of farm roads before you enter through the big Kloppenheim Hotel estate, which is where we are situated. We have an inverter for load shedding.

Waterfall View South is one of four private villas on the farm, above its own waterfall with fly fishing access to six stocked trout dams and the property's live river, included with your stay. Soak in a hand-built stone hot tub above the waterfall. Three en-suite bedrooms, sleeps 8. No shared facilities. When this villa is available, it rarely stays that way.

Forest Dawn Lodge

Forest Dawn Lodge offers self-catering accommodation for 14 people in seven beautiful rooms. Five of the rooms have their own en-suite bathrooms and two of the bedrooms have double beds. All bed linen and towels are provided. The three lounges offer the opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends. On cold winter evenings, one can socialise cozily in front of the log fires.
