If you want to view Vancouver Lake from the park itself, see a beautiful view of Mt. St. Helens, and possibly even a flock of Canadian geese, then Vancouver Lake Park is for you! It's a bit of a drive (15 minutes), but it's lovely. There's hiking, paddle boarding, canoeing, and volleyball practiced out at this park as well as family picnics. There is a $3 parking fee, but it's good all day and the pass gets you access to the other county parks (Frenchman's Bar, Klineline Pond/Salmon Creek Park, & Lewisville Park). If you continue about 2-3 miles down Lower River Rd., you will reach Frenchman's Bar Park, on the Columbia River.
