If you have come away to relax and would rather leave the cooking to someone else then the George and Dragon in the village is about a few minutes’ walk from Mariners Hard. The food is consistently excellent and they have a wide range of good beers and wines. Dogs are welcomed. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 12 noon to 11pm; Saturday and Sunday 12 noon to 11.30pm.
