Clapham Common is lovely green open space to visit especially the area around the bandstand. Lovely Italian cafe La Baita is right next to the bandstand with a vast menu and has a license to serve alcohol so lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or pint whilst watching the world go by

Plentiful transport links... Clapham South (closest), Clapham Common and Balham underground all Northern Line. Bus stops for routes 155, N155, 50, 355, 249. 10 min walk to Clapham Common too many bus routes to mention. Overground Rail Stations: Balham and Clapham High Street Rent bikes from shops on Balham High Street or Clapham High Street. Also the street bikes have pods all around London.

Great for walks and running, if you loop the whole common it's exactly 5km so great for keen runners. Little ponds and lakes all over and lots of open green space.

After you have had your Sunday coffee and croissant at one of the fantastic coffee shops around the Pavement, take a stroll across the common. You can also join one of the many outdoor gym groups running across the common early in the morning. Great for early spring evening - where everybody is out drinking in the first rays of Spring sun.
