Download an app called "TfE M-tickets" and "Transport for Edinburgh". There is a minimum spend of £10 for tickets. Day tickets are the best value at £4 if you are going to use more than 3 buses.

This is the biggest local bus company in Edinburgh with many bus routes. You can buy a ticket from the driver, but please note that you need to have the EXACT amount of cash, as the driver can give you NO CHANGE, except Airport Bus No. 100.

Lothian Buses are the biggest bus company in Edinburgh. They have a few useful apps that might be worth downloading. A one-way fare is currently (July 2016) £1.60.
