The Lubiaz monastery complex is one of the largest churches in the world, part of which dates back to the 14th century. In addition to the monastery other interesting buildings in Lubiaz include a wooden windmill, an example of wooden architecture, unique for this area. Built in the 1790's. In the 1930's the mill was renovated and thoroughly modernized to operate until 1973. There is also a Lusatian farmhouse from the 19th century. The building comprises living quarters of half-timbered construction with basement, brick base and wooden gables, a barn and an outbuilding with brick flooring. The roofs of the three buildings are covered with ceramic tiles
